Vlogging is very big and possibly here to stay and get better. It is one of the most successful ways to get information out. It does not matter how long the Vlog is. As long as the point is put across in a manner that makes it stand out then you are good to go.

There are countless Vlogs online especially on YouTube. It is the one place that most Vloggers share their information as well as create functional communities to help them prospers in their online ventures.

Vlogs can be hard to rank in search engines especially if you do not know which words and tools to use so as to stay relevant. But with proper utilization of different online tools like SEO key words you can soar higher than a bird.

It is essential to use and complement your videos with certain kinds of keywords so as to make your Vlogs relevant to even those who are not interested in your topic. Benefit of SEO Keywords on Vlogs

1.      It gets you More Vlog Traffic

The more you choose to use general and highly searched SEO keywords in your Vlog titles the more chances they stand at being viewed by millions of people online.

Most viewers often do not search for specific products or items they often try to use general terms to search for information. This is to enable them find loads of information related to the topic they want. So the more you invest in search engine keywords the more you get traffic to your Vlog channel.

It might seem easy but if you have no idea of the kinds of keywords that are mostly searched in relation to your topic then get ready for zero site traffic.

So do your research properly. Do not do guess work when it comes to SEO keywords.

2.      Helps the Vlogs Have a Clear Vision

The more you use SEO keywords on your titles the less time you spend explaining what your Vlog is all about.  It does not matter how many time you optimize it in the video. The point is that it needs to be there not only for video status but for search engine rankings.

The more your Vlog seems on point and easier to understand the more it gets views and ranks on top search engine websites like Google and YouTube.

It also helps the viewer know and anticipate the direction in which the Vlog will take them. On the same note, it helps them stay in tune with the post.

The internet is full of weird stuff so when a person sees that the keyword does not say what they are looking for then they will move to the next one with a clear statement of purpose in the form of SEO title.

There is no need to watch an entire video only to find out it has nothing you were looking for.

Moreover, know what your viewers want or are looking for. Always look for a gap that needs to be filled and optimize on it.

3.      It Helps Target Specific Kinds of People

The more you use SEO keywords that are geared toward your target audience the more your posts get viewed or ranked among others just like it.

As much as you want to reach everyone you must first find your fans so they can help you build up your Vlog into something others can be interested in. But never lose the vibe and meaning of the entire Vlog channel even if you want to reach more people.

Consequently, since you are well acquainted with the topic you are Vlogging about it won’t be hard to know or find the right kind of keywords to use so as to achieve the right amount of reach and exposure.

Vlogging is a very interesting marketing tool as well as a very rewarding publicity avenue that can change your life in mater of second if everything is done right. So always make sure you SEO your Vlog titles with regard to the niche and topic at hand.

5 Unique Vlogging Ideas

  1. Do a Q&A Vlog

If by any chance you lack inspiration and feel like doing something different then try answering some questions on the comment box. It is the easiest and most simple Vlog idea that can garner you more viewers.

You can also Vlog about your daily activities from social to business. This is a very effective means to garner views and followers as most people will always tune in just to see what you were up to. It is one of the best ideas as you can cover many niches in just one Vlog. Moreover, it makes you engage with your viewers in a more personal level as they get to know you a little better.

It also lets you cover most parts of your life in different angles as opposed to just the usual headshot angles in your room.

So, there you have it, but you can always think of others as you go since Vlogging is a step by step process that takes time to refine. Best Shotgun Microphone For Vlogging

Choosing the best shotgun microphone for vlogging is what everybody is after, but do you know why you should use a shotgun mic? Most vloggers are only using a shotgun microphone because they see so many other people using them, but there is actually a reason behind this.

The main reason vloggers use a shotgun microphone is because it only picks up noise that is in front of it, not all around. When you are out and about it doesn’t make sense to have a microphone that will pick up all the noise around you. Being that audio is 50% of your video, it makes sense to have the best audio that you can, that is why a quality shotgun mic is so important.

So, what is the best shotgun microphone for vlogging? The first thing you need to understand is that I don’t recommend going with any shotgun mic that is less than $80. I say this because once you get mics cheaper than that the biggest problem you will face is that they still pick up unwanted noise from all around you. Although this can be fixed in post-production, it does take more time that you need to spend on it. Do yourself a favor and only buy one of the following shotgun mics.

Please note that all of these microphones only work on cameras with external audio inputs. These would include most newer DSLR and mirrorless cameras. If you don’t yet have a quality camera, then check out the best vlogging cameras here.

Best Shotgun Microphone For Vlogging

Rode Video Mic Go

This is personally my favorite shotgun microphone for vlogging. I say this because this is the best microphone for the money, you don’t have to worry about the battery dying since it is powered by your camera, and it cuts down on surrounding noise better than anything else I have ever tried. When it comes to the best bang for your buck, the Rode Video Mic Go is what I recommend.

Rode Video Mic Pro

The Rode Video Mic Pro is just as good as the Video Mic Go. There are a couple main differences between the two microphones. The first main difference is that the Rode Video Mic Pro is powered by an internal 9v battery. What this means is that you won’t take any of the battery from your camera. Another huge difference is that on the Rode Video Mic Pro you have the ability to adjust some of the audio settings. This is great because you can change the settings depending on how close or far away you are.

Shure VP83 Lenshopper

The Shure VP83 Lenshopper is most famous for being used by YouTuber Casey Neistat. The reason he uses this microhphone is because it is just as good as the Rode Video Mic Pro, except it is smaller. If you are looking for a quality vlogging microphone then you can’t go wrong here.

As you can see, there are many different shutgun microphones out there, but not all of them will be great for vlogging. As I said earlier, if you want the best shotgun microphone for vlogging then you need to spend at least $80 or more. By doing this you will ensure yourself that your videos not only look good, but the audio is of the highest quality as well.

Where To Find Music For Youtube Vlogs

When it comes to creating the most appealing videos there is no way around using music. Everybody likes to have music in videos they are watching. Why? People can relate to music, they can relate to the lyrics in the songs and the melody of the tune helps bring the story together. So, when it comes to finding music for Youtube vlogs there really are only 2 places that I strongly recommend.

Where To Find Music For Youtube Vlogs

Soundcloud

Soundcloud is by far the best music sharing site I have ever come across. The best part about Soundcloud is that you can find songs and melody’s that will work for any type of video. Whether you are recording a sad video, one that is supposed to inspire, or one that is very up beat, this is where you should go to find that type of music.

What most people don’t realize about Soundcloud is that it is so big that you might spend hours upon hours looking for the perfect song. Trust me, if you are looking to get a video up quickly and not have to worry about a bunch of options, then don’t go to Soundcloud as you will spend too much time here.

There are a lot of songs here to choose from, but some of them you can’t just stick on Youtube. Many of these songs require that you put the musicians name and website address into your video description. Even if the song that you choose doesn’t require this, I still recommend it as many people watching your videos might want to know what song that was and this is just another way to provide that information without having to post it in multiple comments.

Youtube Music Library

Although this is where most people would look first, I don’t like coming here to begin with. The reason why I like to use Soundcloud first is because they have more music, the tunes are not all the same, and most newer vloggers will never use it.

If you are new to vlogging, then use Youtube Music Library as it is free, easy to find, and integrated right into Youtube itself. The best part about all of this is that you don’t have to waste your time trying to find the sounds that you like, they are right there and it takes only a few minutes to find something that will work.

As you become a bigger Youtuber and you start to learn new things, the channel grows, and you get more views, then it is time to start expanding on your software. This is where Soundcloud will come in handy.

Many big name Youtubers use Soundcloud as well, one in particular is Casey Neistat.

Tips On Using Music On Youtube Videos

Always Use Different Songs

There are a few songs that I use on a regular basis, but only for certain occasions. One of those songs is only played when I take off with my drone, and another only plays when I go underwater. All the rest of the songs are always different.

Why?

I like to use different songs because it breaks up the monotony of the videos. When I am always recording myself in a car or on vacation, then things start to look the same. By wearing different clothes, using different music, and recording with different cameras it really changes things up. Trust me, having variation in your videos is a great thing.

Turn Down The Volume

I don’t want to have to tell you this more than once, but turn down the volume on your music. Yes, the person playing the video could turn the volume down on their device, but this shouldn’t stop you from doing it for them. What I recommend it that you turn the volume down on your editing software so that it matches the volume of the rest of the video. By doing this you won’t hurt your audiences ear drums, which will make them very happy.

Make Sure It Flows

Have you ever watched a Youtube vide that had music in it that just didn’t flow with the type of video? This happens all the time and I for one don’t like it. When somebody is teaching you how to cook a romantic meal and then all of the sudden they put on a heavy metal rock song, this really throws off the vibe of the video. What I recommend is to listen to your clip and make sure that it ties into your video. Don’t make this mistake as many people are repelled by this and could potentially stop watching your videos.

Lastly, never use music for your Youtube Channel if it is not royalty free music or you don’t have rights to use it. Putting copyrighted music into a video means you won’t be able to earn any money from it and after too many times of doing this you can potentially get your Youtube Channel shut down.

Now that you know where to find music for Youtube Vlogs and some tips to get you going, get out there and make the best quality vlogs possible.
