5 Unique Vlogging Ideas For Daily Vloggers

Vlogging can be hard at times especially if you are a daily Vlogger. You might run out of topics to the point of repeating yourself. Vlogs are all about content and keeping your viewers engaged with your videos. So it is important to always have fresh ideas all the time.

The internet and YouTube to be specific has loads of diverse people from all over the world. It can seem hard to please everyone. But the right people will always find your views interesting as long as they are diverse enough with no hateful remarks every now and then.

Here are a few ideas you can borrow every now and then without losing your whole Vlog vibe. They are simple and to the point.

5 Unique Vlogging Ideas

  1. Do a Q&A Vlog

If by any chance you lack inspiration and feel like doing something different then try answering some questions on the comment box. It is the easiest and most simple Vlog idea that can garner you more viewers.

Most people often want to know more about you, so talk about yourself as well as your hobbies. Let the viewer’s get what they want. And they will keep coming back for more.

You can opt to do it once a week or a few days of the week. Do not make it daily as it might start to bore. Just gather all the appropriate questions of the week and answer them on a single picturesque post.

  1. Vlog about Your Daily Life

You can also Vlog about your daily activities from social to business. This is a very effective means to garner views and followers as most people will always tune in just to see what you were up to. It is one of the best ideas as you can cover many niches in just one Vlog. Moreover, it makes you engage with your viewers in a more personal level as they get to know you a little better.

It also lets you cover most parts of your life in different angles as opposed to just the usual headshot angles in your room.

  1. Cover Pranks

You can also cover pranks every now and then. It does not have to be out of the box idea but even simple pranks that are mostly viewed by people online. You just have to find an angle that makes yours seem unique and original.

It is always entertaining to watch and can garner you more viewers, shares and likes. These are especially popular among trending YouTube videos.

It can go viral in a matter of seconds if done right. Just ensure it is diverse and fun for everyone. Avoid making pranks that look down on certain people as they may seem offensive and less funny. You might end up being trolled all over the internet for all the wrong reasons.

  1. Do Interviews

You can also interview different people every now and then. This is one of the best ways to get more views from both parties. You can always interview known or break-out artists in your specific niche or just give the viewers what they want by asking them whom they would like see interviewed. Just make sure the topic being covered is informative otherwise there is no need of doing it.

  1. How-to Vlogs

How to Vlogs are a must for any serious Vlogger. It is one thing you can do every now and then without losing touch with your viewers. Nobody is ever bored with how-to ideas especially if they are refreshing and original. It does not matter which niche you cover be it hair and beauty, DIY or home décor. Always try to be unique so as to stand out from the rest of the Vloggers who do the same thing.

So, there you have it, but you can always think of others as you go since Vlogging is a step by step process that takes time to refine. Because one minute you will be famous the other minute you cannot even think of a single topic to cover. It can be hard for daily Vloggers to always think of fresh ideas on top of their head. The best thing to do is always have a weekly plan and you will never fail to deliver quality refreshing videos.

Where To Find Music For Youtube Vlogs

When it comes to creating the most appealing videos there is no way around using music. Everybody likes to have music in videos they are watching. Why? People can relate to music, they can relate to the lyrics in the songs and the melody of the tune helps bring the story together. So, when it comes to finding music for Youtube vlogs there really are only 2 places that I strongly recommend.

Where To Find Music For Youtube Vlogs

Soundcloud

Soundcloud is by far the best music sharing site I have ever come across. The best part about Soundcloud is that you can find songs and melody’s that will work for any type of video. Whether you are recording a sad video, one that is supposed to inspire, or one that is very up beat, this is where you should go to find that type of music.

What most people don’t realize about Soundcloud is that it is so big that you might spend hours upon hours looking for the perfect song. Trust me, if you are looking to get a video up quickly and not have to worry about a bunch of options, then don’t go to Soundcloud as you will spend too much time here.

There are a lot of songs here to choose from, but some of them you can’t just stick on Youtube. Many of these songs require that you put the musicians name and website address into your video description. Even if the song that you choose doesn’t require this, I still recommend it as many people watching your videos might want to know what song that was and this is just another way to provide that information without having to post it in multiple comments.

Youtube Music Library

Although this is where most people would look first, I don’t like coming here to begin with. The reason why I like to use Soundcloud first is because they have more music, the tunes are not all the same, and most newer vloggers will never use it.

If you are new to vlogging, then use Youtube Music Library as it is free, easy to find, and integrated right into Youtube itself. The best part about all of this is that you don’t have to waste your time trying to find the sounds that you like, they are right there and it takes only a few minutes to find something that will work.

As you become a bigger Youtuber and you start to learn new things, the channel grows, and you get more views, then it is time to start expanding on your software. This is where Soundcloud will come in handy.

Many big name Youtubers use Soundcloud as well, one in particular is Casey Neistat.

Tips On Using Music On Youtube Videos

Always Use Different Songs

There are a few songs that I use on a regular basis, but only for certain occasions. One of those songs is only played when I take off with my drone, and another only plays when I go underwater. All the rest of the songs are always different.

Why?

I like to use different songs because it breaks up the monotony of the videos. When I am always recording myself in a car or on vacation, then things start to look the same. By wearing different clothes, using different music, and recording with different cameras it really changes things up. Trust me, having variation in your videos is a great thing.

Turn Down The Volume

I don’t want to have to tell you this more than once, but turn down the volume on your music. Yes, the person playing the video could turn the volume down on their device, but this shouldn’t stop you from doing it for them. What I recommend it that you turn the volume down on your editing software so that it matches the volume of the rest of the video. By doing this you won’t hurt your audiences ear drums, which will make them very happy.

Make Sure It Flows

Have you ever watched a Youtube vide that had music in it that just didn’t flow with the type of video? This happens all the time and I for one don’t like it. When somebody is teaching you how to cook a romantic meal and then all of the sudden they put on a heavy metal rock song, this really throws off the vibe of the video. What I recommend is to listen to your clip and make sure that it ties into your video. Don’t make this mistake as many people are repelled by this and could potentially stop watching your videos.

Lastly, never use music for your Youtube Channel if it is not royalty free music or you don’t have rights to use it. Putting copyrighted music into a video means you won’t be able to earn any money from it and after too many times of doing this you can potentially get your Youtube Channel shut down.

Now that you know where to find music for Youtube Vlogs and some tips to get you going, get out there and make the best quality vlogs possible.

How To Get More Vlog Views

So, you want to know how to get more vlog views? This is one of the questions that everybody wants to know and the answer to and it really is not that difficult. The other question people ask all the time is “How to start a vlog”. If you want to reach 1 million vlog views, then the key is to put in the work. With that said, I do have some tips and tricks for you to get more views to your vlog.

Getting more views on your vlog is critical to it being successful. I say this because we both know that you won’t keep recording videos if nobody is there watching them. Do yourself a favor and make sure you follow the tips below so that you get the most vlog views possible.

Tips To Get More Vlog Views

Title Your Videos Correctly

This is perhaps the biggest tip that I can give you. If you are vlogging about travel, then title your video so people know where you are going. If your vlogs are about fashion, then title your videos about the clothes you are wearing or the tips that you are giving them. Nobody wants to try and guess what your video is about. With that in mind, if you can choose keywords that people are searching for online, then your video will get many more views.

Add Video Descriptions

I know this is something that nobody wants to do, but it does work. When you add a video description to your video more people will see it. The reason behind adding the description is so that Google and the other search engines will have words to tie your video to, which will give you more chances of coming up in the search engines. This also works because sometimes bloggers and other vloggers will add your videos on their site, which by adding a description and linking to your other videos it will give you a backlink from their site.

Ask Viewers To Share The Link

This is one of our favorite things to do on all of our videos. We ask our viewers to please share the link to the video if they found it helpful at all. It doesn’t take anything more than simply asking for a share to see results. I remember the first time I did this and to my surprise 16 people shared my link on Facebook, which ended up getting my video thousands of more views.

Send An Email To Your Followers

When I have a video that I really want my followers to see, I simply send them an email and tell them about it. This is something that I was not able to do in the beginning because I didn’t have an email list. Just know that if you have friends or family’s email addresses then you could always send the link to them that way. The more views you can get initially the higher chance more people will see in as the days go on.

Link Back From Other Social Media Accounts

How many people are you friends with on Facebook? Do you have a decent size Twitter account? Maybe you have 20K people following you on Instagram. If any of these are true, then link from those accounts back to your vlog. What you will see very quickly is that your video will get a large amount of views early on. Once this happens the amount of likes, shares, and thumbs ups will also increase. What happens then is your video is well on it’s way to going viral. Trust me, social media exposure is great when used correctly.

Everybody wants to know how to get more vlog views, but few are willing to put in the work. Do you need to work 40+ hours per week to see huge views, no, but you will need to put some time and effort into this. Just know that in order to get more vlog views you should always be increasing the amount of videos you have online.
